Martin Syms from Porth in Rhondda was recently awarded £80,000 in compensation after suffering from severe back injuries sustained after a fall from a chair at Cardiff Central Station.

Mr Syms, a driver for Arriva trains at the time, was sitting on a plastic molded chair in the station's mess room at the time, when it collapsed, causing him to land heavily on his back.
